Xiaomi 15 Ultra
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is anticipated to be launched by the company in the next few months, with a potential debut in early 2025 according to the release pattern of their previous flagship models.
Although Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the arrival of a successor to the 14 Ultra, a Chinese tipster has revealed some key details about the upcoming device. It is rumored that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be available with three different types of rear panel materials.
The phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset and feature a 2K resolution display with subtle curves on all sides.
According to a Weibo post by the tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese), the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will come in three different back panel options: ceramic, glass, and faux leather. Users will have the ability to select their preferred material. In contrast, the current Xiaomi 14 Ultra has an aluminum frame and a rear panel made of vegan leather.
The first titanium Galaxy Z Fold could launch in October
According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It might boast an “ultra-narrow equal-depth quad-curved screen” with 2K resolution. The device is rumored to have a circular camera island, similar to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The quad-camera setup is anticipated to feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with a new periscope camera.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra operates on HyperOS, based on Android 14, and features a 6.73-inch WQHD+ LTPO AMOLED micro-curved display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
It is equipped with a quad-camera setup that includes four 50-megapixel sensors. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 90W wired, 80W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The launch date for the Realme 13 series has been announced
Additionally, it boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra debuted in February at MWC 2024 and was subsequently introduced to the Indian market a month later, with a price tag of Rs. 99,999 for the sole variant featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. We anticipate that Xiaomi will adhere to a similar first-quarter launch schedule for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
