It’s time to examine the brand-new Vivo V40 Pro, which has arrived at our office for review. Currently, the V40 Pro is exclusive to India, but it is anticipated to be launched in additional markets in the coming weeks.
This device boasts a sleek design with distinct curves on both the front and back. Our review unit is in Moonlight White, featuring a marble-like finish. The retail package contains an 80W charger, a USB-C cable, a SIM ejector tool, and a translucent silicone case.
On the front, there’s a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display that closely resembles the one found on last year’s V30 Pro. It maintains the same resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 and offers a refresh rate of 120Hz, but it is significantly brighter, achieving a maximum local peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
The back of the device showcases a redesigned camera module featuring two oval components. The upper section contains a 50MP main camera (IMX921) with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.
The lower section is equipped with a 50MP telephoto camera (IMX816) that offers 2x optical zoom, along with the Aura Light LED flash. The V40 Pro has a premium feel in hand, with a substantial weight that is well-balanced. Completing the specifications is a robust 5,500 mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging, the efficient Dimensity 9200+ chipset, and an IP69K rating.
