Samsung Galaxy S25 will be dropping Exynos in favor of Snapdragon in all markets.

Several leaks have already surfaced regarding the Galaxy S25, including an IMEI listing, a potential camera sensor upgrade for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and rumored pricing details.

However, today’s information is particularly significant as it pertains to a sensitive topic – the chipset. Renowned insider Ming-Chi Kuo has stated that Qualcomm is likely to be the exclusive supplier of the SoC for the Samsung Galaxy S25, as opposed to supplying only 40% for the S24.

Android Central was the first to report the information, but the post on X (formerly Twitter) provides insight into the true reasons why Samsung may choose to not include Exynos in the Galaxy S25 series, which may surprise you.

In recent years, Samsung has faced criticism for using Exynos chips in their flagship models, as they have been found to sometimes underperform compared to models equipped with Snapdragon chips.
