Redmi 13 in for review
Here is the recently announced Redmi 13, fresh off the press from last week.
The Redmi 13 is an entry-level phone by Xiaomi that shows promise. It offers decent specs for its price, but does make some compromises. For instance, the box only includes a USB cable and SIM tool, so you will need to provide your own charger. The phone features a 6.79-inch 1080p IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and good brightness levels.
The Redmi 13 features a large 5,030mAh battery with 33W charging support, and is powered by a 12nm MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chipset with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. It also offers a choice of 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
Our model is the Pink version, which is compact and visually appealing. Despite having only one rear camera, it is a high-quality 108MP unit based on the Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor with 9-in-1 pixel binning and 3x in-sensor zoom. This should result in impressive image quality considering the price point. We are currently testing the Redmi 13, so stay tuned for updates.
