Google is anticipated to make a significant impact this year by launching three Pixel 9 models instead of two and revealing its new phones before the upcoming iPhone. There are also rumors suggesting that the phone’s design will be adjusted, and according to a recent leak, the standard model will come in a vibrant pink color.
According to a May report, the Pixel 9 was expected to arrive in Obsidian, Porcelain, Jade, and Peony. The version we are currently seeing is the Peony variant, which appears to be even more attractive than anticipated.
In a video shared by user Hani Mohamed Boud, a pink Pixel 9 is shown. The caption suggests that the phone is already available in Algeria, indicating that dealers in the country have received the phone. With Google expected to reveal its new lineup on August 13, this could be a retail unit rather than a display unit.
If this is indeed the case for the pink Pixel 9, we believe that its color will be a key factor in propelling it to the top of the list of phones in 2024.
Despite the risk of stereotyping, I find it hard to resist the pink color, especially the beautiful shade of Peony. This particular variant of the Pixel model stands out as one of the most vibrant images we have seen in a while.
The design of the phone, as previously mentioned, features flat edges, a flat display, and a glossy back panel. Similar to the Pixel 8, the Pixel 9 also has two cameras, which are now located within an oval-camera island.
It is speculated that the phone will come with a 6.03-inch screen and is expected to be equipped with a Tensor G4 chipset. It will likely come pre-installed on Android 15.
Besides an updated design and a new chipset, there is nothing to look forward to with the upcoming Pixel phones. However, the addition of a pink Pixel 9 device could potentially overshadow these shortcomings.
