OnePlus Nord 4 renders leak a week before launch

The metal-bodied OnePlus Nord 4 is set to be revealed on July 16th, but just a week before its official unveiling leaked images of the phone have already surfaced. After an initial leak that showed schematics and a supposed live image of the phone, we now have higher quality renders of this mid-range fourth-generation phone, rumored to be available in three two-toned color choices: black, mint, and white/silver.

As you can see from the images, there’s nothing special in terms of design that we weren’t expecting. However, the leaked specifications claim that the OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to impress with its powerful specifications. According to rumors, the phone will have:

  • The phone features a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate,
  • A Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor for fast and efficient performance,
  • A large 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging support for all-day power,
  • And a triple camera setup including a 50-megapixel primary sensor,
  • An 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The OnePlus Nord 4’s design features flat sides and keeps the popular Alert Slider, which lets users easily change between silent, vibrate, and ring modes. Its inclusion is appreciated, especially after OnePlus removed it from the OnePlus 10T, causing some controversy among fans. Interestingly, OnePlus has chosen to keep the headphone jack on the Nord series, despite introducing the new Nord Buds 3 Pro with the phone.

While the OnePlus Nord 4 is anticipated to be released in other countries, its launch in the US is unlikely. OnePlus has a history of only releasing a limited selection of Nord phones in the US, and this year appears to be no different. Presently, the company’s lineup in the US includes the OnePlus 12, 12R, Open, and Nord N30 5G models.

The OnePlus Nord 4 is becoming an exciting new competitor in the mid-range smartphone market with its metal body, strong specifications, and popular features. Although US customers may not have access to this model, it will be intriguing to observe its performance in global markets or for adventurous individuals in the US who choose to import one.
