OnePlus 13 rumored to have generous battery cell

The renowned leaker and tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some thrilling news for fans of OnePlus, specifically regarding the upcoming flagship model, the OnePlus 13. The leaker has revealed that the flagship will feature a significantly larger battery than previous models.

This information has been circulating in rumors for some time now, but the recent post from Digital Chat Station confirms our suspicions about the OnePlus 13 battery.

Essentially, the leaker claims that the OnePlus 13 will have a battery capacity of either 6,100mAh or 6,200mAh. Although he did not specifically mention the model he was discussing, all indications in his post suggest it is the OnePlus 13. Therefore, it is safe to say that we can look forward to this development with excitement. Previous rumors have also hinted at a similar battery size, leading us to anticipate the OnePlus 13 having at least a 6,000mAh battery.

The OnePlus 12 came equipped with a generous 5,400mAh battery, which performed well. Now, OnePlus is being even more generous by increasing the battery capacity on their flagship model. This addition of more battery power is a positive move, especially since it doesn’t result in added bulk or weight.

The OnePlus 13 is slated to be released sometime this year, with the initial launch likely taking place in China, following the pattern of previous models. The global debut is anticipated to occur in January 2025, although it should be noted that no official confirmation has been made at this time.

Other rumored specifications for the flagship phone include a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, expected to be announced in October, a 6.8-inch 2K display, and likely 50W wireless charging support similar to the OnePlus 12.

Regarding the cameras, it is likely that you will receive three 50MP cameras with Hasselblad branding. There are rumors that the OnePlus 13 will have upgraded water resistance, potentially reaching either IP68 or IP69 certification.

The revitalization of the flagship market has me reevaluating my previous thoughts. Over the past few years, I believed that flagships were becoming stagnant, with upgrades being merely minor improvements.

Now there are rumors that Apple will bring significant updates with the iPhone 16 Pro, Samsung is excited about the Galaxy AI and upcoming foldable devices, and OnePlus is preparing to launch a powerful device. It appears that things are becoming interesting once more, and I am excited to see what unfolds.
