Motorola has lately introduced the Moto S50 in China, which is a rebranded interpretation of the Moto Edge 50 Neo. still, it’s entirely distinct from the Moto S50 Neo, which was launched back in June. It’s important to note that the Moto S50 is available simply in China, though transnational guests can pierce it as the Moto Edge 50 Neo.

The Moto S50 Neo comes in three Pantone-ingrained colors and two memory configurations( 12/ 256 GB and 12/ 512 GB). The most affordable model is priced at 310/€ 280, while the advanced-end variant costs 350/€ 320. Both models can be bought through Lenovo’s sanctioned online store.

The primary distinction between the Moto S50 and the Moto S50 Neo lies in their internal chipsets. The former is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, while the ultimate features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 CPU. also, there’s a significant difference in the displays.

The standard model boasts a lower 6.36-inch LTPO P- OLED display that supports HDR10 and has a 120Hz refresh rate, whereas the Moto S50 Neo offers a larger 6.7-inch P- OLED display with identical specifications. also, the recently launched Moto S50 features a triadic camera setup( 50MP main 10MP blowup 13MPultra-wide), whereas the Moto S50 Neo is equipped with a binary camera system( 50MP main 8MPultra-wide).

likewise, the Moto S50 is powered by a 4,310 mAh battery, which is significantly lower than the Moto S50 Neo’s 5,000 mAh battery. It’s worth noting that the standard model doesn’t have a microSD card niche for memory expansion. On a positive note, the Moto S50 Neo is IP68 certified, furnishing water and dust resistance. It also includes a 32- megapixel selfie camera, and an under-display point detector, and operates on Android 14.
