Vanilla Motorola Edge 50 5G hits Europe in July, price leaked

Motorola introduced the Edge 50 Ultra last month, followed by the Fusion and Pro models. However, the vanilla variant we anticipated has yet to be released in the Edge 50 lineup.

It has been reported that Motorola intends to maintain the focus on the Edge 50 series for an extended period of time. The company, based in the US, is reportedly set to release the standard Edge 50 model later this month.

According to a reliable source cited by the team at 91mobiles, the Motorola Edge 50 5G is set to be released in Europe at a price of approximately €600, making it the third most expensive phone in the Edge 50 series, following the Edge 50 Ultra and Edge 50 Pro. The most affordable option in the series remains the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, priced at just €400.

The report also states that the Motorola Edge 50 5G will be available in gray, green, and peach colors in Europe. Additionally, it should be noted that the rumored price of €600 is for the 12/512GB model, suggesting that the price of the Edge 50 5G may be lower if Motorola introduces models with less memory.

Regrettably, there have been no leaks of the Edge 50 5G’s specifications yet. The only confirmed details are typical for modern phones, including NFC support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 6, and 5G.

Similar to the other Edge 50 phones, the standard model will come pre-installed with Android 14. While the Edge 50 5G is expected to launch in Europe soon, it is likely that Motorola will also release it in other regions.
