HMD Barbie Phone certified pre-launch

The long-rumored HMD Barbie Phone has been officially confirmed to be launching later this month, with a listing now available on China’s TENAA agency containing additional images and details.

The device, a collaboration between HMD and Mattel, is certified with the model number TA-1681 and will include a 1.77-inch TFT LCD cover screen (128x160px) and a 2.8-inch (240x320px) main display.

The back of the phone will feature a single 0.3MP camera. Although the operating system is not specified, previous rumors suggest it will be either S30+ or KaiOS.

Additionally, the phone will be equipped with an unspecified 1GHz chipset, 64MB of RAM, and 128MB of built-in storage that can be expanded through a microSD card slot.

The HMD Barbie Phone will support 4G/LTE and Bluetooth connectivity and will come with a 1,450 mAh battery. It measures 108×55×18.9 mm and weighs 123 grams.

OnePlus Open Apex Edition announced

The HMD Barbie Phone appears to be a rebranded version of the Nokia 2660 Flip, as indicated by the specifications mentioned above.
