Samsung accidentally leaks and confirms the Galaxy Watch Ultra name

There are swirling rumors suggesting that Samsung may reveal the Galaxy Watch Ultra at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July 10th. If true, this new release would be showcased alongside other eagerly awaited products such as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Buds 3, and Galaxy Watch 7.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra from Samsung is positioned as a rival to the Apple Watch Ultra, providing a smartwatch packed with features for durability and performance. It is said to feature a tough design capable of enduring rigorous activities. The watch’s rumored circular dial and square case offer a distinctive appearance that blends traditional watch styles with a contemporary, practical design.

Recently, a Samsung support page was briefly seen on the official Samsung Canada website, as reported by 91mobiles. The page not only acknowledged the presence of the Galaxy Watch Ultra but also disclosed important information about the upcoming smartwatch. It was confirmed that the Galaxy Watch Ultra will be available in a 47mm size, catering to individuals who prefer a bigger display. Furthermore, the support page indicated that the Galaxy Watch Ultra will be compatible with LTE connectivity, enabling users to stay connected even when their phone is not nearby.

Multiple leaks and reports have emerged about the Galaxy Watch Ultra, revealing details about its design, features, and possible price. In addition to its durable design, the smartwatch has been seen in white and dark gray color choices with an orange button on the side. It is anticipated to have a titanium (Grade 4) frame, a sapphire crystal display with a maximum brightness of 300 nits, and water resistance up to 100 meters. Other potential features include dust resistance and a “Quick Button” for improved navigation.

If the rumors are accurate, the Galaxy Watch Ultra may become one of the priciest smartwatches available. With a leaked price range of $699 to $710 in the US, it surpasses the starting prices of numerous popular smartwatches. Nevertheless, the speculated features and enhanced fitness tracking abilities of the Galaxy Watch Ultra could validate its higher cost for users seeking durability, performance, and a comprehensive smartwatch experience. The real design and features of the watch will only be revealed at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
