This could very well be the end of the line for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, as the device has just received its third, and likely final, operating system update. It’s worth mentioning that the tablet received One UI 6.0 earlier this year. Launched with Android 11 in mid-2021, it has now received an Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update in South Korea.
The firmware version is T225NKOU8EXH2 and includes the July 2024 security patch, along with many of the new features inherent to Android 14 and One UI 6.1. While most devices that were scheduled for an update have already received the latest One UI 6.1, and some are even expecting the 6.1.1 version, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is somewhat late to the scene.

However, considering it’s a low-priority budget tablet, we are pleasantly surprised that it has received its third major software update at all. The update is currently being rolled out in South Korea, so you may have to wait for it to reach your region, but it shouldn’t take too long.
