Report reveals bigger battery for iPhone 16 model

Apple is expected to reveal its new iPhone 16 family in approximately six weeks.

We have heard different reports about their battery life, but none are as thrilling as the latest one. Instant Digital, a China-based leaker with over 1.4 million followers on microblog Weibo, predicts that Apple will shock us with a significant boost in battery life for a particular model in the lineup: the iPhone 16 Pro. Although other models will also see an increase in battery capacity, it appears that the smaller 16 Pro model will receive the most substantial upgrade.

The iPhone 15 Pro, with a 6.1-inch display, features a 3,274mAh battery, while the newer and larger iPhone 16 Pro, with a 6.3-inch display, is rumored to come with a 3,577mAh battery, which is 9% bigger.

The upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max model is expected to feature a 4,676mAh battery, which is almost 6% larger than the battery in the current 15 Pro Max version.

If all of these predictions prove accurate, Apple could potentially widen the gap between the Pro and regular models, particularly between the Pro Max and Plus versions.
